David Weeks has done it again...
Stolen my heart that is.
MoCo LoCo is featuring David Weeks votive holders. Aren't they terrific? I love them so much and after spending 45 minutes trying to find a way to purchase them (with no luck) I am now turning it over to you. Please help me find these!
Follow up- www.kikkerland.com says they will announce retailers for these candle holders around the end of April.

DS 1025
Built on the basis of two ingenious elements which have been painstakingly constructed with eminent craftsmanship into striking terrace-like forms, the DS-1025 provides a unique seating experience. Like terraced hills, the elements left and right vary in width and depth in tapering steps. Together they constitute a welcoming two-seater, a pyramid or a small range of upholstered hillocks. With the addition of extra elements, it is possible to create seating groups whose diversity is limited only by the owner's imagination.

Easter Hatbox
Vosges' exotic truffles are made from the finest ingredients offered around the world. Owner/Chocolatier, Katrina Markoff, personally chooses every spice, flower and chocolate that is flown into our Chicago kitchen. Markoff utilizes the original methods of French confectionery artistry which she learned during her training at Le Cordon Bleu in Paris. Having graduated with the Grand DiplĂ´me from Le Cordon Bleu and having worked extensively in France, Spain, Italy, Southeast Asia and Australia her collections of haut-chocolats have great, worldly inspirations. Inspired by her global apprenticeships, Vosges truffles have exotic influences of an 'East meets West' theme. The infusions of rare spices and flowers combined with premium chocolate give a delicate balance of flavor, leaving you with a layered and lingering sensation of spice and chocolate. A true 'haut-chocolat' experience.

Bears
"Bears, the first book by Kent Rogowski, is a series of portraits of the most unusual sort: ordinary teddy bears that have been turned inside out and restuffed. Each animal's appearance is determined by the necessities of the manufacturing process. Simple patterns and devices never meant to be seen are now prominent physical characteristics, giving each one a distinctly quirky personality: their fasteners become eyes, their seams become scars, and their stuffing creeps out in the most unexpected places. Together these images form a topology of strange yet oddly familiar creatures. They are at once hideous yet cuddly, disturbing yet endearing, absurd yet adorable, while offering a metaphor for us all to consider. These bears, which have lived and loved and lost as much as their owners, have suffered and endured through it all. It is by virtue of revealing their inner core might we better understand our own."

Relax!
"I am dreaming of a green meadow where I can lie comfortably looking at the sky, feeling content.
The outline of a relaxed person lying in the grass evokes memories of a weekend out in the countryside. Midweek it serves as a parking space for the city dweller's stressed soul. Designed to raise a smile in a public place. "

The Fabric Works of David Cheah
David Cheah Art and Design is a multidisciplinary creative studio with the aim of elevating the everyday experience of living into a meaningful and joyous journey through Art. Apart from paintings, mundane everyday objects such as a cushion or a dress can be elevated to be a work of Art.
David Cheah is a Malaysian born architect and interior designer turned multi-media artist, having lived and worked in Amsterdam, Kuala Lumpur and Sydney. His early frustration with the absence of a decorative painter for built projects prompted him to study decorative paint finishes under the watchful eye of Jennifer Bennell, the author of many books on the subject. These decorative painting techniques have become the foundation tools for his leap into the world of Art.
Demonstrating a diverse range, David’s portfolio includes paintings on mixed media such as glass, walls, medium density fibreboard and fabrics or a combination of all these media. This is manifest in his most significant project, the V.I.P. Lounges at the Kuala Lumpur International Airport in Malaysia.
A solo artist, David nonetheless has a team of artists he regularly works with as and when the need arises with large projects. In fact, due in part to his architectural background, he takes particular pleasure in collaborating with other architects and designers to develop site specific works in keeping with their original design intent.
With many successful exhibitions in Kuala Lumpur, Singapore and Sydney behind him, David now divides his time between Australia and Malaysia. His creations are available through selected galleries and hip stores in Australia.
